Stepping Into Trail with Micah Hansen - SCW 2024 Clinic

Salt Creek Wranglers is excited to announce the first in our 2024 Clinic Series, “STEPPING IN TO TRAIL CLASS,” with MICAH HANSEN on April 13, 2024 at the Sandhills Global Event Center.

Pole work for horses can increase the range of motion of the horse's limbs and joints, engage the hindquarters, and lift the back.  Obstacle work gets the horse and rider thinking. It provides a mental break from typical arena work while still practicing skills that are needed in horsemanship and pleasure classes. Trail class work helps the horse and rider learn to think quickly, plan ahead, and work as a team.

Meet Micah Hansen...
Nebraska native Micah Hansen is renowned across the country for his talent and skill as a trainer of high-level AQHA horses and riders. Micah is an NSBA and AQHA Congress and World Show Champion rider and trainer. With experience showing and judging, Micah is known for his sense of humor, diligence in training, and experience with youth and amateurs. This Salt Creek Wranglers 2024 Clinic will help riders polish their performance in all aspects of showing through Show Trail work.
